Garage, Storage Unit, or Whole-House Cleanout? Why We Do a Free On-Site Visit First

Most junk removal is simple enough to price from a phone call or a few photos: a couch, a mattress, a garage corner's worth of clutter. But a full garage cleanout, a storage unit, or an entire house before a move is a different kind of job, and we handle the pricing differently on purpose.

What counts as a "big cleanout"

Think: a garage that hasn't been sorted in years, a storage unit you're closing out, an estate that needs to be cleared, or a full house ahead of a move-out. These jobs share one thing in common: nobody, including us, really knows the full scope until someone's standing in the space.

Why these don't get a phone or photo quote

Our regular minimum-plus-item pricing works because a mattress or a couch looks about the same no matter whose garage it's in. A whole-house cleanout doesn't work that way. It might be one truckload or it might be four, there could be things tucked in closets and attics that never make it into a photo, and access (stairs, tight hallways, how far we're carrying things) matters a lot more at this scale. A phone quote for a job like that isn't really a quote, it's a guess, and we'd rather not guess with something this size.

What the on-site visit actually looks like

We come out, walk the space with you, and get a real look at what's involved: how much there is, how it's accessed, and anything that needs special handling. You'll get a firm price before we schedule anything, based on what we actually see, not what fits in a text message.

Does the visit cost anything?

No. The on-site estimate is free, with no obligation to book. If the number doesn't work for you, that's fine.

How pricing works once we're there

Once we've walked the space, we'll give you a firm price for the job, not a range that could still move. It's the same principle behind everything else on our pricing page: no surprise numbers, just a real price based on the real job.
